Mad Hatter:What an EP, what an EP

Daken: Yes, quite.

Mad Hatter: I can't believe Horo signed a marriage contract

Mad Hatter: She's probably just wants to confirm Lawrence's feelings or something

Daken: Boy that's going to mess stuff up.

Daken: Most likely.

Mad Hatter: I'm thinking she rips the contract at the very end

Daken: And that's what Lawrence is betting on.

Mad Hatter: Still at least Lawrence isn't being a coward anymore

Mad Hatter: He's in it to win it baby

Daken: He's got some mad skills with the credit system though.

Mad Hatter: He got so pissed when he say that contract with Horo's (attempted) signature it was insane

Daken: Yeah, he's got the reason to want her - so as to make sure Amati doesn't leak the word about her heritage.

Mad Hatter: More like "I love you" but that too

Daken: Yeah, love seems to make people crazy

Mad Hatter: Kukuku 1st hand experience lol

Daken: Oh, now we won't get into that, will me?

Mad Hatter: Kukuku not a chance

Daken: One of the biggest things I notices was the drunken wooden/straw animal fights

Mad Hatter: Eh didn't pay much attention to that

Daken: Either way, Amati's either going to get Horo and Lawrence will fight to get her back, or he's going to lose Horo and then fight to get her out of Lawrence's hands.
Daken: fun fun fun fun fun!

Mad Hatter: in the spirit of the show (merchanting wise), Lawrence will find that storyteller convince her to get the pyrite from the alchemist and stop Amati from completing the contract by artificially driving the price down.
Mad Hatter:Horo will then say "I've been waiting...on the right side of the wind" (reference to EP from season 1)

Daken: The show is "Spice and Wolf", and is running for 12 episodes, so it's gotta have a ton more LawrencexHoro action

Daken: Amati.... hopefully not so much.

Daken: NOT SEXUALLY NOT SEXUALLY!

Mad Hatter: As for amati im hoping he's done after this arc (next EP)

Mad Hatter: Otherwise ill be asking "Is he dead yet", every new EP

Daken: Yeah, it seems like every season there are 2 "arcs"...

Daken: I hope either he dies or leaves.

Mad Hatter: He's done after Lawrence ruins him next EP I hope

Mad Hatter: Also when's the church getting in. I thought back at season 1 that if they made a season 2 the church would be a main antagonist

Daken: Yeah, the church is going to show up again soon, I got this strange feeling.

Mad Hatter: Oh well this season is more Horo feeling lonely and finally come to a loving relationship with Lawrence

Daken: How much of a loving relationship is still to be determined.

Daken: They definitely have chemistry, but if they will play on it is the question.

Daken: Now one thing that has been messing with me is the assassin-like figure in the opening.
Daken: Right in the opening where it goes "aoi kuni no miru story"/"the story of the blue country bloomed"

Mad Hatter: Oh yeah, I'm thinking its a girl from the glint of the eyes but idk. Looks like its another blond (hopefully not another blond cockblock like Amati and Nora)

Daken: Yeah, it does look like a chick. Past that, I guess we wait.

Daken: Also, in the opening I think I saw Chloe again.

Mad Hatter: If she's there the church is back

Daken: Eitehr way, this episode really set the stage for the next couple of episodes

Mad Hatter: Its really the old married couple I want to meet (I'm thinking a wolf x human relation ship...but reverse roles with man being wolf) that will show Lawrence and Horo of how they can live together

Daken: As for the old couple, I'm looking at it now, and they don't look much older. Just looks like Lawrence is patting her on the head. If they do stay together, it'll be interesting the whole keep-Horo's-secret thing. I mean, barely anyone else know about this ATM, so it could be a problem.

Mad Hatter: Well Nora, the people from the guild from season 1 who saw her transform... the church and Chloe who were also there. (surprisingly a lot of people.)
Mad Hatter: Back to this EP... Horo's scheming something/testing Lawrence tho that's obvious. I mean she looked so sad when she she met Lawrence's eyes. It was like "your pathetic... you wuss. , come on.. fight for me you coward...do... something!"

Daken: I'm thinking Lawrence gets Horo back, drunk or drugged or something, and is really caring for her

Mad Hatter: Whatever, this EP got me really ecited for EP5. also thank god that preview from last time of amati kissing horo was only a daydream. they sure can tease us.

Daken: Yeah, I was wondering if it was real or not, because of the lighting...

Mad Hatter: Also, FINALLY the merchanting is back. this IS spice and wolf!

Daken: And thank Cthulhu for more merchanting, even if it is crazy.

Mad Hatter: Anyway, spice and wolf all the way

Daken: Quite.
